Rainforest Black Stem Fern

These ankle-high plants might be indigenous Hawaiian ferns. They grew in the Hawaiian rainforest that is considered to be the last lowland rainforest in the United States. The links to certificates show that Elisabeth Green protected that forest. She pulled the weeds to allow these ferns to grow. She chased away the wild pigs that were damaging the native forest. In many ways, she protected the rainforest that removed carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. That is how she got the credit for postponing climate disasters.
This non fungible token (NFT) represents one gram of the carbon dioxide that was removed from the atmosphere on January 21, 2015, by the Hawaiian Hawk habitat forest located at coordinates 19.465 latitude and -154.942 longitude. This NFT entitles the bearer to offset one gram of emitted carbon dioxide or entitles the lifetime climate-neutral to emit one gram of carbon dioxide. This NFT is one of 1,000 limited to comprise a carbon credit that meets the highest standards. This NFT series contains unique carbon removal date and GPS coordinates to prevent double counting.
