BACKGROUND: GIWG has Projected Expenses For 2007-9 (to share with GROW, Media and CCWG).

PURPOSE: GPCA functioning requires that Greens keep all commitments and perform all responsibilities in accordance with bylaws. Such dependability requires fully compensating co-coordinators and activators for out-of-pocket expenses. The GPCA can enrich financial supporters with a functioning party.

PROPOSAL: The GPCA shall reimburse Activators for expenses organizing Green Actions including letter-writing and phone campaigns, mass mailings and community organizing following events organized by sponsors who hold the Ten Key Values of the GPCA. The GPCA shall reimburse $10/hr to registered Green Party members who performed the co-coordinator's work, which freed the co-cordinator to perform activities required by the bylaws.

COMMITTEE DECISION: Concept consensus at 12/10/06 GIWG teleconference. Details worked out at 1/14/07 teleconference and at online listserv. Final proposal approval is scheduled for the official Saturday morning GIWG State Meeting in accordance with GPCA bylaws.

TIMELINE: We hope to complete the Green Actions before the 2008 election. The rest are ongoing.
